By now you've probably heard about the super awesome Montana Cap Map. Well, now you'll have the chance to pre-order your own map and save on shipping costs, all while supporting MCBW! That's right, by using the Buy Now button below, you can order one of these great MT Cap Maps, which will arrive during MCBW, and you won't have to pay for shipping.
We're bringing you this opportunity because we are guaging how many of these great maps to bring in for our event. Quanties are limited, so first come first serve!

"Join us for an epic pairing of beer and food. Sweet dishes will be paired with sour beers and sour dishes will be paired with sweet beers. Plus, patrons will hear from one of the masters of American sours, David Brendgard, the new lead brewer for Flathead Lake Brewing Company, who spearheaded the sour beer and cellaring program for Deschutes Brewery in Oregon.

Gold-level sponsor, Thirst Gear, a 15-seat "pedal pub," is hosting three unique, fun, and educational tours next week during its Missoula debut at Missoula Craft Beer Week. Each three-hour tour provides a behind-the-scenes look into the city's craft beer scene, an expert tour and tasting guide, and two beers "on the house." All tours are scheduled for 3 - 6 p.m.

Monday April 28 - "Know Your Hops" - Join Jared Robinson from Summer Sun Garden & Brew for a "nose on" tour that educates you about hop varieties and get a taste of hop-forward beers. The tour includes a stop at the Kettlehouse Southside location for a special beer poured through their Randall.
Tuesday April 29 - "How Beer is Made" - Ride along with Mike Howard, owner/brewer for Missoula's upcoming brewery, Great Burn Brewing Co. and find out first-hand how commercial craft beers are made. Stops include Draught Works, Kettlehouse, and Bayern.
Wednesday April 30 - "How to Taste Beer" - One of Missoula's most knowledgeable "beer guys" is Mark Waiss, a Certified Cicerone and craft beer expert at Summit Distributing. Mark has taught hundreds of people the proper techniques for getting the most out of each glass of craft beer. He'll cover why proper glassware is important, what to look for in each style, what off-flavors might pop up, and how to speak the "beer talk."

We love food and beer pairings for Missoula Craft Beer Week and Flathead Lake Brewing Company of Missoula is putting on a great one Monday, April 28.
Enjoy a four course meal at the Galaxy Lounge paired with Flathead's excellent beers while talking with Flathead's brewers. Happy hour begins at 6:00 p.m. with the dinner following at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $55 per person and are available at Flathead Lake Brewing Co. of Missoula at 424 N. Higgins Ave.
Flathead is also sending down two special beers that will be available all week (while supplies last): Montucky Sour Brown and American Wild Ale with Cherries. The American Wild Ale is brewed by starting with a pale ale, adding "souring critters" (a blend of Brettanomyces, Saccharomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus), putting it all in a cherry port wine barrel, adding some sweet cherries from the Flathead Valley and waiting and waiting. Join Missoula Craft Beer Week for its first-ever "Brews on the Block (Party)" on Toole Ave. on Sunday April 27 from 12:30 - 6:00 P.M. (immediately following the Draught Works Beer 'N Bacon Breakfast).
We'll have several food trucks, beer poured from Tamarack's "Ambrewlance", a gaggle of games from Summer Sun Garden and Brew Supply, an outdoor cinema courtesy Warm Springs Productions, a chance to win brew tours from Montana Brewery Tours and Tap Room Tours. You can also try out a seat on Thirst Gear.
If you haven't yet registered for the Craft Beer Cup, we'll have registration open at the Block Party (it's the last day to register!).

Who doesn't love a good pub crawl, winning stuff, and helping a great local non-profit? Here's your chance to play in one of Missoula Craft Beer Week's signature events, the Craft Beer Cup: A Mini Golf Tourney & Pub Crawl on Thursday May 1.
It's simple, gather a team of 4-6 players, each player pays $20 (includes a t-shirt!), and bring your putter and ball to play 9 holes at 9 different bars, with over 9 breweries sponsoring each hole. The breweries are bringing bagloads of swag to give away all night, and the bars are building some of the finest, most-fun mini golf holes in Missoula County!
Players packet pick-up will be on May 1 between 5:15 - 5:45 P.M. Tee time starts at 6:00 p.m. sharp! Shotgun start, with two teams starting at each hole.

FREE Mini Brew Demo: TUESDAY APRIL 29 at 7:00 p.m. || Chapman Home Brew. 2330 S. Higgins. Have you thought of making your own beer but do not have the money or space for doing 5 gallon batches? Join us for a demonstration of very small scale beer brewing (~1 gallon batches) Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. Brewing small batches is also a great way to test recipes before committing to bigger batches.

Grain/Wort Tasting: ALL WEEK || Chapman Home Brew. 2330 S. Higgins. All grain brewers; have you used any of the other base malts besides North American 2-Row?
